COMPRESSOR FRAME
cast in one piece of special alloy cast iron, designed to withstand high temperature and pressure.
CRANK SHAFT
of graphite cast iron of high tensile strength with ground and polished bearing surfaces, dynamically balanced for vibration free operation.
CONNECTING RODS
die forged with  H section for maximum strength made of high carbon heat treated steel, having white metal steel backed big end bearings and Gudgeon pin bushes of special wear resistant alloy.


CYLINDER LINERS
Centrifugally cast from highly wear resistant alloy, precision bored and honed.
PISTONS
Low weight as cast in aluminium alloy of high corrosion resistance. Pistons are oval ground and having two compression rings and one oil control ring.
MAIN BEARINGS
renewable, precision made of steel backed white metal.
SHAFT SEAL
maintains a leak free seal for either pressure or vacuum. The rotating point of contact between a graphiter sealing ring and a stationary case hardened steel gland which is free to move laterally to assure perfect seal alignment. Correct pressure balance at point of contact is spring controlled.
SUCTION AND DISCHARGE VALVES
Ring plate type, made from special alloy steel and designed for low noise level and quick, positive, leak free operation.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
crank shaft  driven gear type pump  draws oil fro crank case through large fine mesh strainer. The pump delivers oil to the main bearings  connecting rods big end bearings, gudgeon pin bearings, crank shaft seal and also to the unloading  and capacity control system . The correct pressure can be maintained by adjustable spring loaded valve .Crank case oil level can be observed through sight glasses fitted in both side covers.
UNLOADING MECHANISM
is operated by oil pressure and it is used as a capacity regulator by which the cylinders can be rendered inoperative. If specified compressors are supplied with automatic capacity control system otherwise manual capacity control system is standard supply.
SUCTION STRAINERS
large , fine meshed and easily removed for cleaning purpose.
SUCTION AND DISCHARGE STOP VALVES
are mounted on suction and discharge manifolds for easy operation.
SAFETY DEVICES
Compressors are protected by a suction  low pressure  switch , a discharge high pressure switch ,  an oil pressure switch and safety valve.
GAUGES AND INSTRUMENT PANEL
High pressure , low pressure and oil pressure gauges are mounted on instrument panel fitted on suction manifold . Safety  switches, gauges and other controls can also be fitted on remote control panel.
